2021 Red Bull Street Style National Qualifier Rules



  • Must be 16 years old by the start of your Stage 1 Qualifier to enter the competition. Users 16 and 17 must fill out the below Parental Form and return to [email protected] in order to compete:
  • In the case of dual citizenship, an athlete is only allowed to represent 1 country
  • Judging criteria: Difficulty, Originality, Execution, Control and All-Round
  • The national qualifier is managed through the WFFA app
  • Top competitors will advance to Stage 2 BattleZone


  •     You have 60 seconds to show the best you can do with a ball.
  •     Judges are looking for your all-round abilities and execution of tricks.
  •     Video cannot be edited in any way – no cuts, no effects, no titles and NO MUSIC!
  •     Video must be recorded in 2021. It must be new, unseen and not uploaded anywhere else (social media, web etc).
  •     Just you and a ball – no hands, no accessories, no other people in shot. 
  •     Drops and mistakes are considered.
  •     3 judges will review your video and create ranking of all athletes

  • Classic 3 x 30s round format
  • Athletes will have 12 hours to react to each round
  • Judging criteria: Difficulty, Originality, Execution, Control and All-Round
  • The BattleZone Champion will advance to the Battle Pools online competition 
  • Top competitors advanced from qualification to Stage 2 BattleZone


  • Hands are NOT allowed
  • Foreign objects cannot be integrated into the battles 
  • Participants must be constantly visible on the camera
  • Dropped ball after trick attempt = mistake
  • Changing equipment (shoes, ball) is not allowed during the round
  • 3 judges will review the battle once it is completed and score it based on all criteria at once. 
  • Participant with the most points will advance the next round
